A Gift
Have you ever watched the rain
Falling from the sky
Dark clouds hover up above
Watch as they pass you by.
Life is such a treasure
A wealth for one and all
Raindrops slowing coming down
Like tears from Heaven they fall.
Colossal is the rainbow
That spreads across the sky
So many hues and colors
As the slowly fade and die.
They say an Angels crying
I know it's just a myth
Raindrops falling from the sky
What a precious gift.
