Amazing Grace


Have you wished deep down inside
That you could find a place to hide
Hide from those who come your way
With endless problems every day.



Just hide from things that lies ahead
The problems and grief that you may dread
Ignore decisions you must make
Avoid the path that you must take.



Just run away and find a spot
Where everything can be forgot
A place to go and be alone
If only serenity I could clone.



There is no shelter here on earth
That I could buy for what it's worth
I feel I'm left alone to face
The woes that plague the human race.



Do you feel the way I feel?
So much each person could reveal
God and I shall find a place
I'll dwell with Him in Amazing Grace.
