Oh Lord, thank you for angels from heaven
With them we are never alone
You have sent them to guide us
As we journey upward to our home.
Even though we cannot see our angels
We know they are always near
And with soft wings they touch us
Calming our every fear.
Angels from heaven we need them so
God sent them to help us learn and grow
What peace and joy to us they bring
Filling our heart with love so we may sing.
Angels from heaven nudge us if we err
Guiding us back when we stray
And whisper loving words in our ear
Angels even join us as we pray.
