I write this with a pen
And seal it with a kiss
I have something to ask you
Please answer this.
Are we friends or are we not?
We talked about it but I forgot
I need to know now so tell me true
Because I can say I am here for you.
Of all the friends I've ever met
You are the one I won't forget
And if I die before you do
I'll go to Heaven and wait for you.
If you don't arrive on Judgment Day
I'll know you are traveling the other way
I'll quickly turn in my silver wings
And won't worry that I lost everything.
Just to prove my friendship is true
I'll go to anywhere to be with you.
So answer my quest I'll hope for the best
For any real friendship is put to a test.
