Come on now be happy
You can do it yes you can
It's easy to be gloomy
Grumpy to your fellow man.

Life is too short to feel this way
Don't rely on others you see
That crutch you want to lean on
It doesn't belong to me.

Be happy, have fun, enjoy yourself
Your friends will see you through
They are eager to see you smiling
And they'll always be there for you.
