~Dreams Of A Snowy Evening~




Snow softly falling in a quiet hush
Gently touch the trees and underbrush.
The snow soft as a blanket spread by a loving hand
Covers every flaw and blemish on the land.



The road lying under the snow beckons to me,
Come on and take a sleigh ride into the night.
Snuggle under the blanket to be warm as can be
As we glide along and view this beautiful sight.



Seems as if we glide along on a beautiful cloud.
The trees puncture the clouds and stand as spires high
Guarding the roadway like sentinels in the night.
We ease along into the twilight
While the stars twinkle overhead like jewels in the sky.



This is a fantasy special to me
For where I live we never have snow.
So, for that special snowy evening to be
I drift away in dreams and to fantasy land I go
