A Fairy Tale Dream


I thought I saw a fairy
I really thought I did
Tinkering with a buttercup
Tiny crown upon its head.



I thought I saw a fairy
I will describe just what I saw
I had to be real careful
So I viewed her from afar.



Some were fairy children
So precious and so sweet
And some were fairy maidens
So delicate and discrete.



They danced around the flowers
Sat upon a rose bud fair
Tiny smiles upon their face
Not a worry or a care.



I sure wish my dream was real
I could run outside and say
Hey my little fairy friends
Come on out and play.
