Just as the garden gate hangs
In its usual place,
So shall I always be there
Ever present in your life.
Just as so is the garden gate
Allowing you to come and go
Freely within my life,
Taking all the love you need
Receiving all the affection
Knowing I always care.
I shall be there with you
When sorrows of life come
And sadness fills your heart,
When joys of life abound
Making your heart happy,
Whatever betides my love
I'll hold you in my arms
As long as the garden gate swings.....
