They call me a pack rat
And what they say is true
I don't get rid of nothing
Don't care if it's not new.
Cartons, jars and bottles
Microwave bowls by the score
Plastic spoons from the Dairy Queen
Gossip papers from the store.
They call me the bag lady
Don't bother me one bit
Plastic bags from the market
Got a place just where they'll fit.
I don't throw away nothing
I might need it another day
I got it all in cubby holes
So it won't get in my way.
Trouble is I can't find anything
I'm not organized you see
When I stumble over something
What a surprise it is to me.
So call me anything you want
I'm a collector is what I am
I got this cute little jar to save
After I finish up the jam.
