It's true my heart is broken
But it will mend in time
Just need to sort things out
In my troubled mind
I'm standing at the crossroads
With many twists and turns
I know which path to follow
My faith will pull me through
Many times I have fallen
Been shattered and broken in two
I pick myself up and move forward
It's the only thing to do
You can never call me quitter
Although at times I'm weak
Sometimes its hard forgiving
By turning the other cheek
My heart holds many treasures
Buried deep inside
Somehow they make me stronger
Make me smile and feel alive
Tomorrow starts a new day
I know I'll see it through
Cast away my troubles
Starting fresh and new
In the darkest corner
Also there is light
My strength will be the leader
I'll follow without a fight
