The joy of giving
Makes life worth living
When sharing your wealth
With no thought of what is left.



Better than jewels is a gift of self
From an overflowing heart
Filled with love
When received by a grateful heart.

Better than silver or gold
Is a gift of love
And caring
With only the wish of sharing.



The joy of giving is reflected
By seeing a need
And with no thought of greed
Sharing with no thought of a return gift expected.
