~ Never Forget ~ Never forget that fateful day Planes crashing all around Many people lost their lives Hysteria on the ground. The crash and loud explosions Smoke suffocates the crowd Many escaped the inferno We cried with our heads bowed Billows of smoke rising high Screams echoing everywhere A day we will always remember One we can hardly bare. The precious families left behind Will never have their peace Their loss with them forever And tears may never cease. The grounds are now all sacred Our heroes can be sure They will never be forgotten Nor things that they endured. This fifth anniversary Of the 9/11 attack Each year we will remember As the horror keeps coming back. God almighty the infinity of love Please bless us with your grace Someday let us see our loved ones Up in Heaven face to face. Be with the torn families Please help them through this day And let their loved ones in heaven Know their memories with us will stay.
