~*~Partners In Flight~*~
Life is so much sweeter when you have a partner
To be your companion by your side
To share with you in your troubles and joys
As along the journey you rise with the tide.
As we fly side by side through the sky
We pace ourselves so we stay together
To share the currents that lift us up
To soar to new heights, you and I.
We are headed in the same direction
Not at odds or struggling to be free
But staying close in this flight of life,
Me as your husband and you as my wife.
Some days are stormy on this life flight
While other days are sunny and bright.
We fly on together day or night
Whether the night sky is pitch black
or star studded
with a moon hanging high.
May my partner and I
Stay close as on life's flight we go
Sharing love and the ups and downs that come
Keeping our sight on our Lord who loves us so.
