~ Remembering Us ~

Come inside our flower garden
Let's just sit and chat a bit,
About the times we've shared together
When we laughed so hard and couldn't quit.

We walked along the stormy beach
And picked up shells from the shores,
We built sandcastles, bathed in the sun,
Watched the waves splash,
then walked some more.

We've shared many happy hours
Summers were a special time for us,
We learned about each other
We dreamed,
planned,and made quite a fuss.

The winds of time have blown
And erased our Footprints from the sand,
But time can't take away our memories
For we are living the life we planned.

We have come full circle
And slowed down quite a bit,
Now we grow flowers and herbs
And in this garden we come and sit
