You were someone special
Please don’t ask me why
Being there in times of need
Helping my days go by


You may never ever realize
How smiles came to my face
Your heartfelt words to me
With memories I won’t replace


We both had our reasons
Which each of us knew
You reached across to me
Then I bared my soul to you


Lets keep that something special
You blew my dark clouds away
You brought light here to me
