The Lord Is My Shepherd
The Lord is my Shepherd
My provider comforter and security guard,
I shall not go without anything I need
He nudges to keep me going,moving forward.
He has prepared a place for me to rest
A beautiful green velvety pasture is my bed,
Fresh water to drink, restores my faith, and
Clears a path of righteousness for the days ahead.
There are time it seems death is bound to be
I will not be afraid, I know who holds my hand,
I know my Shepherd is with me, He keeps me calm
He is in control, He has absolute command.
I am safe in the presence of my worst enemy
He gives me all the protection I need,
He sustains me in my darkest hour
My hungry body and soul he does feed.
I expect the very best from my Lord,my Shepherd
His wealth and riches are all around,
He own the cattle on a thousand hills
Matter of fact he own the hills and the ground.
Goodness and mercy will be with me
Until my life comes to an end,
Then I will live in the house of the Lord
And be with my Shepherd forever - Amen
