Together We Are One
Hand in hand we travel
Through life's journey, on our way.
Now and then we stop and face each other
With a touch, a smile,but nothing to say.
We have shared so much
As we hold each other tight,
Our love sometimes takes many hits
But together the burdens are light.
I love you and I'm happiest when
We can be together all alone,
And share the many pleasures
And challenges we have known.
We lean on each others shoulders
We laugh,love,Together we are one,
Yes we have had many happy years
But the best ones are yet to come.
